Each Smilecloud design follows a set order, and our lab starts only after you approve it. Veneers and crowns involve reshaping enamel that doesn't grow back, so you settle tooth shape and length first.
- Records: We photograph your teeth and face, check your bite, and take 3D Primescan scans, no messy impressions.
- Design: Your prosthodontist shapes each tooth in Smilecloud to suit your lips, face, and goals.
- Preview: You see the proposed smile on your photos and request changes, like shorter or softer edges.
- Diagnostic wax-up: The design becomes a physical model you can hold and judge.
- Trial smile: If veneers are in your plan, temporary veneers let you try the new shape in daily life.
- Lab work: Our in-house lab in Windermere mills or 3D prints your restorations from the approved design, so refinements happen faster.
Costs and coverage when treatment starts with a design
Your design is part of your cosmetic or restorative treatment plan, so the cost depends on the teeth involved, the restorations you choose, and any gum or bite care needed first. Your prosthodontist gives you a written estimate at your consultation.
We offer 0% financing for up to 24 months, plus longer Beautifi plans with smaller monthly payments. We work with Sun Life Financial, Canada Life, Alberta Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada and the Canadian Dental Care Plan, and cosmetic coverage varies by plan.

It depends on the treatment your design leads to: how many teeth it covers and which restorations you choose, such as veneers or crowns. You'll get a written estimate at your consultation, and you can spread payments with 0% financing for up to 24 months or a longer Beautifi plan with smaller monthly payments.
